The Neighborhood
So many things to do...so little time. Our favorite places are Dan's for traditional American breakfast, Central Market for groceries and laid back entertainment. Radio coffee/beer with food trailer perfect for dog lovers. Saps for Thai food. Hyde Park Grill for yummy food. Saxon Pub and Continental Club for authentic Austin music. Horseshoe Lounge, because its just fun and a bit underground/S. Lamar. Congress street for shopping and hanging out. Barton Springs for cold swimming. Zilker Park hike and bike trails for peace of mind. Yoga Yoga or Black Swan for enlightenment.
Getting around
There are many options for transportation. Walking distance to central market, westgate center patk Grill, Saps Rest. A bus stop across the street, bike rentals 1/2 block away or taxi to nearby Lamar, SOCO, 6th and warehouse districts.
